Job Descriptions
As a Senior Corporate Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in navigating the complexities of corporate tax laws and regulations, including the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. You will leverage your expertise in corporate tax provisions, Form 1120, and multi-state filings to provide strategic tax solutions that maximize compliance and profitability for our clients. Your responsibilities will include reviewing tax provisions and returns, conducting in-depth tax research, and managing tax audits. You will also lead and mentor a team of associates, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, motivate, and train associates and senior associates.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Review and ensure accuracy in tax compliance and provisions.
- Perform and oversee tax consulting and research to identify effective tax strategies.
- Stay updated on current tax practices and regulations.
- Foster a positive team atmosphere and contribute to the overall success of the department.
Qualifications:
- CPA or Bar Admission
- 5+ years of general tax experience, including at least 2 years in corporate tax, from either the public or private sector.
- Strong compliance and consulting background
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities
- Outstanding project management and presentation skills
- Proven supervisory experience.
- Client-focused mindset with a results-driven approach
