Job Description:

Role Overview

Managed Solutions sit at the center of TD Wealth's investment management strategy, connecting product solutions, pricing, platform capabilities, and advisor execution to deliver client outcomes and scalable growth.

Reporting to the AVP, Solutions Implementation, the Senior Manager is responsible for translating managed solutions strategy into practical, scalable adoption across the business, partnering closely with advisors, field leaders, and internal partners. They will lead portfolio implementation consulting and transition support for managed and discretionary programs, focusing on strengthening execution quality, improving consistency, and embedding effective use of managed solutions and pricing strategies into day-to-day advisory workflows.

This leader will operate across strategy and execution, with a primary emphasis on consulting, enablement, and practice optimization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead implementation consulting efforts that help advisors and portfolio managers adopt and leverage managed solutions effectively, with a focus on practical application, consistency of use, and alignment to intended outcomes

  • Partner with advisors, field leaders, and head office colleagues to identify where managed solutions can improve portfolio management consistency and scalability, translating those opportunities into actionable implementation plans

  • Serve as a subject matter expert helping advisors understand managed solutions programs, platform capabilities, onboarding and transition processes, portfolio implementation approaches, pricing considerations, and advisor workflows, linking decisions to economics, efficiency, and client outcomes

  • Champion advisor and client experience as a core design principle through structured field engagement (advisory councils, pilots, feedback sessions, user validation)

  • Use analytics to identify transition and implementation opportunities, friction points, and high-potential advisor and client segments for deeper engagement

  • Lead the development of field-facing collateral and tools on managed solutions value proposition, pricing strategies, and product offerings, and deliver executive-facing communication on adoption trends, advisor insights, and recommendations

  • Drive adoption and sustained behavioural change through targeted education, training, tools, and consultative guidance to reinforce scalable portfolio implementation and pricing effectiveness

  • Collaborate with partners in product, pricing, technology, operations, portfolio management consulting, and practice management functions to deliver unified support and solutions to advisors and inform capability and support roadmaps

  • Reinforce governance, supervision, and risk awareness in implementation practices, ensuring consistency with TD standards

  • Lead and develop team members to deliver implementation consulting excellence, execution discipline, and continuous improvement

Qualifications / Experience

  • 10+ years of wealth management experience, with expertise in managed / discretionary portfolio management and portfolio implementation workflows

  • Strong knowledge of portfolio construction and modelling, investment products, pricing dynamics, and portfolio management systems such as Wealth360 DWP, Croesus, Envestnet, or similar platforms

  • Proven ability to influence and drive change and adoption outcomes, bringing structure to field engagement and converting strategic priorities into practical shifts in advisor behaviour and business execution

  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to connect the dots across strategy and economics of managed account programs, product offerings, pricing structures, and value proposition

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to make complex discussions simple and accessible in small one-on-one settings and with larger audiences, both with field professionals and executives

  • Strong problem solving, judgement, and continuous improvement mindset with the ability to operate across business, technology, and operations stakeholders, and align urgent priorities in complex environments
