Get to know the team

The Rewards team, under the People Rewards and Organisational Planning function within People Operations, drives all global compensation and benefits programs in Grab. We strive to maintain a fair and competitive total rewards framework for Grab, and equip our people managers with appropriate and consistent rewards tools to attract, motivate and retain talent within their organisations.

Get to know the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Compensation to be involved in driving Grab’s rewards practices across the organisation. We believe that a successful candidate has an understanding of a global rewards function from a headquartered role standpoint and is able to translate his/her knowledge into practical and creative solutions to rewards related matters. He/she should also be able to drive rewards programs based on an analytical approach balanced with independent judgment. 

The Day-to-Day Activities 

  • Manage the development, implementation and administration of rewards programs from a global headquarter perspective

  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing rewards practices and recommend enhancements that are cost-effective and consistent with rewards trends and overall company’s objectives

  • Design creative solutions to specific rewards-related programs and incentive plans

  • Manage the company’s participation in compensation & benefits surveys and monitor trends observed through market survey data to ensure continued competitiveness

  • Partner with other internal stakeholders within the People Operations team to drive awareness and communicate the company’s rewards program

  • Provide advisory on rewards related matters including but not limited to base salary, bonus/ incentive programs, equity compensation and benefits offerings

  • Responsible for the design, analysis and administration of all executive compensation related matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Human Resources, Finance, Statistics, Actuarial Science or other STEM disciplines
  • 10-15 years of experience in Compensation
  • Familiarity with compensation practices in technology companies will be a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Proficient in GSuite and Microsoft applications
  • Ability to work independently within a highly dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously 
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Experience in managing executive compensation related matters within a headquartered position will be highly preferable
