About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager-Revenue Operations to join the Finance team. You will report to Associate Director- Finance. You will oversee the full spectrum of revenue management functions, from revenue recognition to billing and collections, ensuring all processes comply with US GAAP (ASC606). You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, FP&A and Legal to optimize revenue and ensure that cash flow and billing processes are smooth and effective.
A Day in the Life
- Lead the revenue recognition process in compliance with ASC 606 for SaaS subscription models
- Ensure accurate monthly and quarterly close process for revenue, including variance analysis, reconciliations and reporting
- Oversee and streamline the end-to-end billing process, ensuring that invoices are accurately generated and sent in a timely manner.
- Monitor relevant changes in USGAAP to ensure revenue recognition policies and procedures are complying
- Implement and monitor effective collections process, minimizing outstanding receivables and ensuring strong cash flow management
- Develop and maintain internal controls around billing and collection process to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory environment
- Manage all revenue recognition matters with the external audit firm
- Partner with Legal and Sales to review and approve contracts for revenue recognition, billing terms, and collection policies
- Lead, mentor and develop a team if revenue, billing and collections professionals
What You Need
- 10+ years of experience in the similar role. SAAS or IT experience is preferred.
- CA/CPA
