About the Role
The Senior Manager, Revenue Operations & Strategy is responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of Roon’s revenue-generating processes. The role plays a central role in aligning our sales, marketing, and customer success teams to maximize revenue growth and optimize customer lifetime value. Reporting directly to the Director of Roon, this role will lead the analysis and design of programs and processes that integrate sales and marketing strategy, customer operations, software subscriptions, hardware sales, and e-commerce in support of both direct-to-consumer and dealer customer channels. The Sr. Manager, Revenue Operations & Strategy will wield considerable influence in driving new growth and leadership in cross-functional performance management.
What You Will Do

Influence Roon’s go-to-market strategy based on activity to begin immediately and significantly evolve over a 1-2 year time horizon.

Bring Revenue Operations best practice to Roon, growing and mentoring the RevOps team while partnering closely with the teams listed below to identify sustainable growth opportunities: Product, OEM Partnerships, Revenue Operations, Customer Success and Technical Support, e-Commerce Operations.

Translate the go-to-market strategy into a set of decisions, investments, and detailed plans for implementation.

Conduct global market and user analysis to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.

Plan, test, and scale programs to maximize Roon trials, conversion, expansion, and retention while establishing performance measurement criteria and KPIs to track against business growth goals.

Develop custom data models, compelling dashboards, and analyses to derive insights into growth opportunities from company data sources across sales, marketing, customer success, product, and more.

Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on sales metrics and trends and clearly communicate analytic findings and recommendations

Develop and maintain metrics tied to revenue team goals and corporate KPIs to measure and analyze sales performance.

Evaluate, implement, and manage data governance standards and improve data quality across sales and other data platforms to support sales processes and programs that include ad hoc and continuous growth campaigns.

Identify, own, and execute strategic data-oriented initiatives to up-level and unlock revenue growth, typically working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success.

Willingness and experience to “roll up your sleeves” and flex between strategic and tactical/execution responsibilities when needed.

Serve as an influential member of Roon's leadership on the future and success of Roon.
What You Need
-
Bachelor’s Degree required.
-
10 years of experience and demonstrable success in revenue operations, analytics, or equivalent management consulting experience in a subscription-based consumer technology business, and at least 2 years with leadership responsibilities.

Understanding of integrated go-to-market in b2c software, with experience guiding product, marketing, customer success, and e-commerce teams towards common growth goals.

Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis, yet translate those results to easily digestible messages and action-based insights with recommendations.

Proactively identify opportunities for GTM process improvement: practical experience gathering requirements (end-to-end in the case of analytic solutions), scoping, building, and implementing new programs and tools where necessary.

Proficiency developing accurate reports and dashboards in tools like Metabase, Tableau, etc.

Knowledge of data platforms like BigQuery as well as ETL/data workflows. Hands-on SQL highly valued.

Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving operational improvements that contribute to revenue growth.

Collaboration-first mindset with track record of influence up/down/across the organization and leadership in a matrix environment.

An ability to drive and thrive in a fast-paced, elastic environment and manage ambiguity and competing priorities.

An ability to take initiative, with a passion for delivering results.
What’s Nice to Have
-
Experience in the digital music streaming, subscription entertainment, and/or consumer technology sectors. Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce experience would be highly valued.

Experience working with platforms such as: outbound/marketing automation, ad tech and media planning, finance/SAP.

Expert implementation of cross-functional process automation.

Willingness to travel 10% of the time with potential for occasional travel to the NYC area.

USD 122,250 - USD 179,300
