Playing a key part in the remediation of Balance Sheet reconciliations, aim is to improve the quality of reconciliations so that they meet pre agreed remediation criteria and quality and efficiency standards. This will require you to understand the purpose of balance sheet accounts, perform root cause analysis, understand data and process flows. You will need to quickly build up a good understanding of business and finance processes and systems.
Often analysing high volumes of data, attention to detail is required together with the ability to stand back, see the bigger picture, understand key issues and identify opportunities to implement process improvements. Condidate will need to be pragmatic in your approach, offering alternative ways to resolve long standing issues.
Together with your leader you will use the information you have gathered to design reconciliation approaches that provide clarity, efficiency, control and identifies risk quickly and accurately. You will document these approaches clearly and succinctly.
You will need excellent stakeholder management skills as you will be working closely with and influencing other teams to assist you to understand current and design new processes and resolve long standing issues.

Chartered Accountant from icai or equivalent international degrees from UK/US.
Big 4 experience is preferrable
