Position: Senior Manager, Quality Engineering
Location: 111 W. Ocean Blvd., Suite 1800, Long Beach, CA 90802
Responsibilities: Lead a team of QA Analysts and Automation Engineers. Apply creative
testing methodologies that straddle both hardware and software
development. Strategically organize QA team to offer the best coverage
while maintaining close relationships with our Software and Hardware
Engineers, Product Managers, Program Managers, Release Engineers,
Customer Support, and Tools teams. Collaborate with Product and
Engineering teams distributed across multiple locations. Guide the design
and development of testing strategies based on project requirements.
Implement and enhance QA Automation Engineering process and
standardization, to ensure delivery of predictable, high-quality product
releases. Build and grow a team of exceptional QA Analysts and QA
Automation Engineers. Effectively hire, coach, and manage diverse QA
teams. Gather, analyze and report on metrics to demonstrate business
value and continuous improvement. Position will manage 2 QA Analysts
and 5 QA Automation Engineers.
Educ./experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Marketing with
coursework in Quality Control, Statistics, Economic and Mathematical
Modeling, or related field plus at least two (2) years of post-baccalaureate
experience as a QA Engineer, Business Development Manager or in a
related position, with at least 1 year therein managing a test engineering
team. Experience must include the following: At least 2 years of software
test automation experience, including game testing; SQL; Sauce Labs;
Browserstack; Test Case Management; Continuous Integration; QA
methodologies; tools and automation engineering practices; API Test
Automation; Postman and Swagger; Jenkins for CI/CD. Position will
manage 2 QA Analysts and 5 QA Automation Engineers.
