Job Summary:

TEAM SCG is hiring a senior operations leader to oversee the systems and processes that support our client e-commerce programs. We power inventory-backed client webstores (“company stores”) used by organizations to distribute branded merchandise for employees, events, marketing initiatives, and loyalty programs. These programs combine e-commerce storefronts, inventory management, and warehouse fulfillment.

This role is responsible for ensuring those programs operate reliably and scale effectively. Key areas of focus include inventory planning, order management workflows, fulfillment performance, and the development of repeatable operational processes.

This is not a marketing e-commerce role. This is an operations leadership role focused on inventory, fulfillment, and operational infrastructure. The right person in this role will help strengthen the operational foundation of our programs and is tech savvy with a creative approach to problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operational performance of multiple inventory-backed e-commerce programs
  • Lead 2-3 team members responsible for building and managing clients' custom webstores
  • Manage inventory forecasting, replenishment planning, and program stock allocation
  • Ensure order flow integrity from e-commerce platform through warehouse fulfillment
  • Define and monitor SLAs to maintain operational accountability
  • Manage operational exceptions including fulfillment issues, returns, and order discrepancies
  • Develop and document repeatable playbooks to support programs growth
  • Partner cross-functionally across programs, warehouse, sales, marketing, and accounting teams

While you will lead team members responsible for building and managing webstores, you will also maintain working familiarity with the webstore platforms and supporting systems. This allows you to audit store configurations and inbox activity, identify potential operational risks, and ensure programs are set up and maintained correctly.

You will also serve as the operational voice in client strategy discussions, working closely with sales and marketing to:

  • Communicate operational capabilities and constraints
  • Ensure program commitments align with fulfillment capacity
  • Position strong operational infrastructure as a competitive advantage in new business

This job summary is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned to support the overall goals of the company.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years in ecommerce operations, fulfillment operations, or inventory-driven program management
  • Experience leading ops team members
  • Direct ownership of inventory forecasting and replenishment strategy
  • Experience working within ecommerce platforms and ERP/inventory management systems strong command of order management workflows, SLA tracking, and operational controls
  • Proven ability to build SOPs, improve systems, and stabilize complex workflows
  • Sufficient technical fluency with ecommerce platforms to audit store setups and operational logic
  • Ability to translate operational realities into clear guidance for sales and client-facing teams
  • Experience with promotional products, kitting programs, or decorated goods is a plus, but strong operational rigor is required.

Working Hours: Team SCG operates Monday through Friday, 9AM-5:30PM EST

Benefits: Paid Time Off | 401K | Profit Sharing | 50% Employer-Paid Health Insurance | Optional Vision and Dental Insurance | 100% Employer Paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability Insurance
