About the department
You will be part of the Business Area South East Asia (BASEA) team, based in Singapore, and will report directly to the BASEA Senior Director of Finance and Operations. Our department is focused on driving calculated p rocurement initiatives and fostering a collaborative environment. The position
As a Senior Manager Procurement at Novo Nordisk, you will lead indirect sourcing across the Business Area and collaborate with affiliate procurement leads, focusing on executing sourcing activities, developing category strategies, and managing supplier relationships to secure high-quality goods and services. You will also collaborate closely with the Regional Head of Procurement to align sourcing activities.

• Provide overall support to the Business Area, in optimizing and growing procurement and sourcing activities through a fact-based, customer-oriented, and methodical a pproach, while also focusing on day-to-day execution and support.
• Lead sourcing and negotiation processes, manage, and align stakeholders at all levels to ensure adherence to strategies, and drive procurement initiatives. Support and develop procurement leads in each of the affiliates in close collaboration with local management.
• Align sourcing activities with the APAC Procurement Group and Corporate Procurement, facilitate best-practice sharing, and actively contribute to regional and global procurement goals.
• Drive the review and implementation of procurement policies, promote the utilization of corporate systems, ensure timely delivery of proposals and projects, and foster a compliant procurement mindset across the Business Area and affiliates.
• Conduct market and spend analysis to identify business development opportunities and to further strengthen the data driven mindset and decision making process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business or a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Extensive knowledge of the sourcing process, including negotiations and category strategies.
• Experienced in leading projects and cross-functional collaboration.
• Hig h logical skills with a data-driven approach and fluency in English, including strong stakeholder management, project management, and presentation skills.
