WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role reports to the NBY Supply Chain Operations Director and leads NBY Manufacturing and Sourcing across Asia and PHK to develop and support the NBY Long Range Sourcing strategy and meet our Nikes profitability expectations in our footwear customization business. The Senior Manager manages NBY Manufacturing Engineering and Costing/Sourcing functions  in close partnership with Demand Planning, Product Creation, factory leadership to ensure NBY is set up to support long-term business growth.  In additional, this role will also collaborate closely with our Inline Costing, Sourcing, Manufacturing Eng, etc, to ensure alignment on processes and operating model whenever possible.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a strategic people leader with product creation, manufacturing, sourcing, or supply chain experience who can shape NBY’s long-range sourcing strategy. This person brings an entrepreneurial mindset, a can-do attitude, and the ability to influence teams and cross-functional partners toward a shared vision. The ideal candidate works well in ambiguity, builds trust across cultures, communicates clearly at all levels, and understands how factory capability, demand, margin, and sourcing decisions connect to long-term growth.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; minimum 10 years of relevant experience in product creation, footwear manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or related fields strongly preferred.
  • Experience in direct or indirect people management, with a people-first approach that amplifies and empowers the team.
  • Entrepreneurial, strategic, and solutions-oriented leader who can translate multi-year product direction into long-range sourcing priorities and cost competitiveness.
  • Strong communicator who can simplify complex topics, influence diverse audiences, and motivate/inspire action across a matrixed organization.
  • Flexible, results-oriented leader who operates with integrity and works comfortably in ambiguity.
  • Willingness to flex working hours to partner with our Asia-based manufacturing and factory teams; some evening meetings are part of the role.
  • This is an onsite role based at Nike’s World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will lead NBY’s long-range sourcing strategy, ensuring the supply chain is built to support business growth, evolving consumer demand, and future product opportunities. You will connect sourcing, manufacturing capability, demand planning, product creation, costing, and factory execution so NBY can scale with speed, quality, profitability, and resilience. If this is you, you will:

  • Develop and lead NBY’s long-range sourcing strategy, including factory footprint, capability development, multi-sourcing opportunities, and readiness to support growth.
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Product Creation, factory leadership, and inline teams to align business demand, manufacturing strategy, and operating model.
  • Assess factory capabilities, identify gaps, and drive opportunities that support new launches, volume growth, responsiveness, margin, quality, and efficiency.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional partners to align on a practical, scalable vision for NBY’s future supply chain.
  • Build strong factory relationships, solve problems, and drive clarity on priorities, expectations, and execution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the NBY Manufacturing Engineering team and PHK Costing and Sourcing Lead.
  • Champion progress over perfection, empowering the team to make smart decisions and move work forward in a fast-changing environment.

Skills Required
