About (Re)vive

(Re)vive is a B-Corp–certified circular commerce company powering resale and recovery for leading fashion brands. Our proprietary platform enables brands to refurbish, relist, and resell returned or excess inventory—unlocking new revenue while keeping product out of landfills.

Our Marketplace division sits at the center of this engine, operating across Live Streaming, third-party marketplaces, and owned consumer channels. As we scale rapidly across multiple sales channels, we’re building the systems, strategy, and commercial discipline required to operate Marketplace as a high-performance, margin-driven business.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Manager, Marketplace Strategy & Commercial Operations to act as the connective tissue across the Marketplace organization.

This is a senior individual contributor role designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, pricing, and performance management. You will not own a single sales channel. Instead, you will ensure the Marketplace operates as a cohesive, high-performing system - aligned to goals, unblocked operationally, and continuously improving.

You’ll partner closely with Marketplace channel leaders (Social Commerce, 3P/Bulk, Content), Finance, Product, Ops, Marketing and Account Management to translate company and divisional goals into execution - owning forecasting, pricing strategy, performance tracking, and special projects that drive gross profit per unit.

This role offers broad exposure across the business and is ideal for someone who wants to deeply understand how a scaled, multi-channel marketplace actually works.

What You’ll OwnMarketplace Performance & Forecasting
  • Own Marketplace forecasting in partnership with Finance and channel leaders (units, GMV, ASP, gross profit).

  • Translate top-down targets into bottom-up channel plans; pressure-test assumptions and flag risk early.

  • Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting that gives clear visibility into performance drivers.

  • Run weekly business reviews, ensuring the team is focused on the right levers and corrective actions.

Pricing & Commercial Strategy
  • Own Marketplace pricing strategy across brands, categories, and subcategories - with input & partnership from channel leaders.

  • Define and document pricing logic including listing prices, markdown cadence, coupon usage, and promotional strategy; partnering with Product to automate a dynamic pricing engine.

  • Partner with Finance to ensure item-level costs are reflected in pricing floors and gross profit targets.

  • Monitor performance and proactively recommend when to dial pricing, promotions, or sell-through strategy up or down.

Operational Enablement (Marketplace-Focused)
  • Design and document Marketplace operational workflows that unblock channel owners and improve speed and consistency.

  • Partner with Ops and Content to ensure inventory moves smoothly from intake → listing → sale.

  • Support operational readiness for new initiatives (e.g., Shopify launch, new channels, tooling changes).

  • Identify friction points and drive cross-functional resolution—without owning warehouse or studio operations.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Unblocking
  • Act as the central point of coordination between Marketplace, Sales, Ops, Product, Finance, and Account Management.

  • Participate in sales pipeline and “blockers” discussions to understand upcoming inventory, risks, and brand-specific needs.

  • Communicate relevant insights back to Marketplace channel owners and leadership so teams can plan effectively.

  • Ensure Marketplace OKRs and financial commitments stay on track.

Special Projects & Expansion
  • Lead analysis for new channel opportunities, partnerships, and commercial experiments.

  • Conduct resale and ASP analysis for prospective brands to inform sales strategy and pricing approach.

  • Partner with Product and Data teams to define reporting, tooling, and system enhancements that improve performance and visibility.

  • Support external partnership opportunities that drive brand awareness, demand, or supply.
Who You Are
  • 6–9 years of experience in marketplace strategy, merchandising, consulting, resale, eCommerce, or commercial operations.

  • Strong commercial instincts—you understand pricing, margin, sell-through, and unit economics at a granular level.

  • Comfortable operating as a senior IC: setting structure, driving clarity, and influencing without authority.

  • Highly analytical with strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; able to synthesize data into clear recommendations. Metabase experience is a plus.

  • Experienced working cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Ops, and Sales teams.

  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment.

  • Highly desired: experience in resale, fashion marketplaces, live commerce, or a consulting/MBA background.
Why This Role Matters

Marketplace is scaling quickly across multiple channels, each with its own dynamics. This role ensures we don’t just grow—but grow intelligently, with discipline around pricing, forecasting, performance, and execution.

You’ll be a key member of the Marketplace team, helping turn strategy into results and building the commercial backbone that allows the team to perform at its best.
