Position Summary

The Senior Manager, LSEG Risk Intelligence, Japan is a critical leadership role reporting to the Risk Intelligence Sales Director for APAC. It takes responsibility for managing the Risk Intelligence business in Japan.

We’re looking for someone with an established record of sales leadership and revenue generation in AML, KYC, EDD, and broader anti-financial crime industry. The role is based in Tokyo.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead on execution of the Japan sales plan in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to drive growth
  • Develop new client relationships and commercial opportunities
  • Ensure sales specialist resources are aligned and focused on key areas of opportunity and addressable market
  • Partner with customer strategy teams to identify opportunities for new business growth and ensure focused execution of product aligned and customer segment sales strategies
  • Develop the RI sales specialist team, maintaining a high level of performance and engagement

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Ability to influence and manage key senior leaders across a matrix environment
  • Consistent record of delivering high performance and exceeding sales targets
  • 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiating ability
  • Deep subject matter expertise in the financial crime/ fraud domain with the ability to work across client segments and geographies
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Track record of leading high-performance teams and working with senior colleagues and stakeholders in a cross functional, global environment to deliver results
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese is a requirement
