About the Role:

We seek an experienced B2B Integrated Marketing Manager to lead our go-to-market (GTM) lead and demand generation. You will partner across the organization to define GTM strategies, craft compelling messaging, and drive the execution of integrated campaigns to increase awareness, adoption, and retention of our products.

You are truly the connective tissue between multiple marketing functions, Mentor Collective teams, and our customers. Campaigns and programs you and your colleagues build will generate new prospects, advance existing opportunities for our sales teams, and reach new audiences. Your work as both a strategist and executor advances Mentor Collective to our next revenue growth stage and increases our brand visibility. 

Responsibilities:

Manage Campaigns & Email Marketing

  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, email, social media, events, and PR.
  • Partner with the sales team to align marketing campaigns and sales activities to ensure lead quality and quantity.
  • Responsible for email marketing program strategy, development, and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment; continually evaluate and iterate these for improvements.
  • Convey brand and partner success stories through various marketing channels, including PR, events, emails, etc.  
  • Project manage outside contractors and vendors to ensure all campaign efforts represent Mentor Collective and perform. 
  • Collaborate with Mentor Collective’s Operations team to maintain the quality and hygiene of our email lists and platform. 
  • Deeply understand the differences in our audiences, leverage customer segmentation, and key data point insights to personalize communications.

Spearhead Conferences & Events

  • Own all aspects of event strategy and execution, including but not limited to managing the event calendar, logistics, promotion, topic design and agenda, speaker preparation, and event recaps. 
  • Own all aspects of conference strategy and execution, including but not limited to overseeing the submission of proposals, presentation creation, coordination of internal staff for conferences, conference recaps, and execution logistics.
  • Hire and manage any contractors required to support the execution of conferences and events. 
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and cost analysis for Mentor Collective events and conferences.
  • Track and measure event and conference effectiveness based on appropriate KPIs. Take a data-driven approach to refining conference selection and overall event strategy quarterly and annually.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience
  • Proven experience managing event and conference strategy.
  • Experience working with contractors to ensure work is completed.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to support juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Knowledge of email best practices – subject lines, layout, targeting, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM laws.
  • Proven success in building email programs that are scalable and efficient.
  • Ownership and accountability of multi-channel in-market initiatives and programs.
  • At least 75% of your workday overlaps with the Eastern Time Zone.
  • U.S. work authorization is required.

  • Working in a start-up environment for a fast-growing company
  • Prior experience working in a remote working environment 
  • Leveraging analytics to improve aggregate campaign performance
  • Higher education experience or in the EdTech industry 
  • Using HubSpot for email marketing and as a CMS

Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 per year (total compensation inclusive of base & variable) based on experience. This is a Full-Time, Exempt position.
