We are looking for a qualified Enterprise Technology leader to join our team, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer. This person will be responsible for helping to ensure that WSL’s Enterprise Technology and company daily operations run smoothly, and are best in class.  They will be hands-on with day to day IT, while collaborating with team leadership to chart a strategic path forward. 

For this position, we are looking for a seasoned technology leader with a proven track record of delivering technology solutions to real world business problems. This leader must be familiar with the state of the art, but also pragmatic about finding the best solutions for the business within timelines, budgets, and other operational constraints.  You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills.  Communication skills and the ability to document complex requirements working with project managers will be important to your success.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Oversee IT operations and manage systems and IT staff
  • Develop strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems)
  • Develop, manage, and track the IT department's annual budget 
  • Consult senior-level stakeholders across the organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology
  • Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance
  • Collaborate with CTO to design the service level for the organization, events, and support for technology within various groups within the organization
  • Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
  • Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 
  • 6+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, networks and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
  • Strong knowledge or both Apple and PC systems
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles
