Position Overview
The IT Business Partner (Senior Manager, L level) will act as the strategic conduit between BDI business leadership and Enterprise IT (IDT&S / BGS). The role owns in-country IT prioritization, RAA definition, and the delivery of IT services (ERP, MRO, PLM enablement support, training/simulation platforms) to enable BDI's localization, MRO and supply-chain objectives.
This role will be based out of Delhi, India.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary IT strategic lead for BDI: define priorities, represent BDI in IDT&S governance, and communicate IT roadmaps and budget needs.
  • Produce concise decision briefs, budgets and business cases to secure funding and resource commitments.
  • Own RAA, support model and escalation matrices for localized systems (ERP, MRO, training/simulation) and coordinate end-to-end L1/L2 support with Enterprise IT Teams
  • Lead SAP sustainment & change capability for BDI in partnership with the SAP COE and partners
  • Shape the localized IT strategy and roadmap for PLM, MRO and ERP alignment to business priorities, ensuring integration efforts deliver operational value.
  • Own end-to-end delivery governance for IT platform enablement initiatives, including pilot approval, program gating, and assurance of business readiness and outcomes.
  • Establish enterprise-grade data and integration governance, setting policies, cadence, and accountability to maintain a reliable digital thread across engineering, maintenance, and supply-chain systems.
  • Lead talent and capability planning for in-country IT, defining organizational design, resourcing priorities, and capability development to optimize sustainability.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 8+ years relevant experience in IT delivery, ERP/PLM/MRO programs, IT service management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with SAP (S/4), PLM/MRO programs, or large enterprise system implementations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and governance experience; able to chair change boards and drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Prior experience in defence / aerospace sustainment, MRO operations, or working with multi-platform delivery centers.
  • Experience with Teamcenter/Opcenter or GOLDesp implementations and integrations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of integration patterns (API/ESB/iPaaS), master data governance, and ITIL service operations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional change management and adoption programs.
