We are currently searching a Senior Manager, Global Product Marketing (m/f/d) based in Munich.

The Sr. Manager, Global Product Marketing, GSS OR Tables is an upstream Product Manager. This role oversees the strategic development, management, and growth of Baxter’s Operating Tables. The Sr. Global Product Marketing Manager leads and coordinates cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to drive profitable portfolio growth globally. This role will have 1 individual, a product manager reporting into it.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop deep understanding of global market dynamics & competitive insights
Gather intelligence on macroenvironmental trends including manufacturing & technology, medical & innovation, regulatory and market access and sustainability
Conduct competitive reviews in depth to gain an understanding of key competitors
Collaborate with regional marketing partners to keep a pulse on market landscape changes and competitive moves
Conduct market research to understand market trends, pain points and key problems to solve
Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop customer unmet needs
Lead research to understand concept preference, willingness to pay and preference share for new to market solutions
Complete market development assessments to identify key barriers to adoption and next steps to overcome barriers (to establish solutions as the standard of care)
Develop commercial release strategies, strategic plans, financial models & launch dashboards to support portfolio investment and growth
Collaborate with product teams and strategic partners to develop comprehensive roadmaps to include growth opportunities (organic & inorganic), release cadences, evidence generation strategies and geographical expansion
Conduct global product team meetings to review projects, address quality issues and gather needs from regional downstream marketing
Lifecyle management of products, including product launch, phase-out, incremental improvements and line extensions
Lead review of all geographical expansion business cases and initial regulatory assessments
Drive alignment with regional marketing and business partners on market needs, go to market strategies and pricing
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive results across multiple business units and functions in a matrixed environment
Broad understanding of global perspective – execution and communication styles
Demonstrated skill in persuading individuals across functions, geographies, and seniority levels
Ability to inspire and motivate others towards a common goal
Proven track record of successfully influencing key stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including executive-level presentations.
Strong interpersonal skills, decisive decision-making, personal accountability, and self-motivation, with a collaborative mindset.
Proven product management experience with success driving aligned, global initiatives that meet / exceed targets.
Ability to travel 25% of the time (domestic and international)
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
10 years of professional experience in product management and / or marketing in a life sciences corporation (medical device, diagnostics or capital equipment experience preferred)
4 years product management experience for a device connectivity portfolio (hardware and software)
4 years upstream / global, regional, or country marketing experience
