As the Senior Manager of Global Mobility and HR Operations you will coordinate and lead all aspects of Anduril’s Global Mobility Program. Your role is responsible for overseeing the transition of employees, whether for domestic relocations within the U.S. or for international assignments, by managing the associated relocation, immigration, and tax considerations.
Your knowledge of employment policies and program management will play a vital role in developing our HR compliance strategy. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead the creation, implementation, and maintenance of robust HR policies and programs. Your responsibilities encompass responding to audits, ensuring meticulous documentation, fulfilling HR reporting requirements, owning key compliance systems, and handling employment authorization processes.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations for the Global Mobility program, including vendor strategy and management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to establish and refine immigration and global mobility workflows, contributing to the development and oversight of programs and policies that facilitate Anduril's growth.
- Facilitate the complete process of domestic, international, and intra-country relocation transfers while collaborating with our third-party relocation service provider.
- Act as an internal advisor for Anduril’s leaders and managers on complex mobility issues, including international assignments, work authorization loss, mobility tax, and compliance obligations.
- Assess insights to identify opportunities for improving mobility programs, emphasizing employee experience, cost efficiency, and return on investment (ROI).
- Keep the business updated on global mobility and immigration regulations and conduct regular audits for compliance.
- Assist in managing immigration, mobility and compliance data within various HR systems.
- Manage open immigration/mobility cases.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from the broader People team, as well as Legal, Talent, and Compensation teams, to facilitate compliance updates, content, programs, training, and other compliance-related needs.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and reporting requirements, including EEO reporting, I-9 compliance, and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.
- Stay updated on global employee-related legislative and regulatory developments, ensuring that changes to rules and regulations are implemented in partnership with the Legal department and reflected in People systems, policies, and practices.
- Draft and develop HR policies and provide policy recommendations.
- Complete regular HR compliance reporting and audits by manipulating large data sets from our HRIS and other People systems and present clear and concise summaries.
- Provide clear and accurate interpretations of People policies to assist HR and business collaborators, including guidance on wage and hour, payroll compliance, and employment classifications.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in global mobility, immigration, and international compliance.
- Experience managing a global HR compliance function that includes SOX, OFCCP & EEO, including both policy/process work as well as audit response.
- Experienced in developing and managing global mobility programs for an internationally operating company.
- In-depth knowledge of global immigration laws, tax implications, and relocation best practices.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities.
- Adapt to and manage frequent procedural changes, maintaining a resilient approach to all things mobility and compliance.
- A detail-oriented and self-directed individual capable of executing tasks with minimal supervision and managing complex, multi-faceted projects. Exhibits strong ownership and communication skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop internal relationships and vendor partnerships and to serve as a point of escalation.
- Commitment to maintaining professional and technical knowledge through ongoing education and engagement with industry developments.
- Experience as a people manager of employees.
- Experience working on global HR projects that involve multiple teams across geographies/time zones.
US Salary Range
$142,000—$213,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
