Taking fusion from a working prototype to a manufacturable power plant is as much an organizational challenge as a technical one. As a Senior Manager, you scale both the electrical systems and the teams that build them — leading across high-energy power systems and owning the roadmap from Polaris toward Orion and, ultimately, mass production. You'll operate where technical strategy, execution, and team-building meet.
What You Will Be DoingLead and scale electrical engineering across high-energy power systems — capacitor banks, power conversion, and grid tie-in.
Own the technical roadmap that carries these systems from prototype toward manufacturable, mass-produced hardware.
Develop managers and senior individual contributors; build organizational depth ahead of Helion's growth.
Drive execution across multiple teams and disciplines, and remove the obstacles that slow them down.
Partner with company leadership on strategy, hiring, and budgets, and keep safety and rigor central as the organization scales.
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Extensive electrical engineering experience, including high-power or high-voltage systems.
Leadership experience (typically 3+ years), including leading engineers and, ideally, other leaders.
A track record scaling teams and delivering complex electrical systems, with both strategic and hands-on technical judgment.
Experience with grid tie-in, design-for-manufacturing and production ramp, or scaling an engineering organization through rapid growth is an asset.
