Position Summary:
We are looking for a strategic eCommerce superstar to join our Digital team and lead the
growth of Well People ecommerce. Proximity to Los Angeles, CA, or New York, NY, is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Revenue Growth and Brand Education/Content Optimization
-Responsible for Global revenue growth for wellpeople.com
-Lead optimization of online educational content to improve brand/category understanding and
increase purchase intent across our assortment, including customized journeys.
-Identify, build, and execute against differentiated D2C experiences and campaigns; ideate
around opportunities for exclusive product windows and bundles.
-Translate brand and campaign “stories” into the digital space, collaborating with the brand
team.
-Develop a comprehensive content strategy in partnership with SEO, CRM, and UX leads
designed to increase time on site and improve conversions per user and per session while also fueling critical intangibles: delight, excitement, and brand affinity.
-Identify opportunities for improving new user acquisition and revenue growth.
-Close partnership with TikTok Shop owner to drive incremental purchases.
-Management of two direct reports.
Sales and Operations Planning
- Responsible for revenue forecasting and P&L for Well People ecommerce and responsible for
managing month-over-month and quarterly – reporting.
- Build a strong collaborative partnership with the Operations team to optimize forecasting and
managing inventory levels.
- Manage business reporting and weekly performance reports.
Conversion Rate Optimization, Testing and Audience Management
-Partner with the Integrated Marketing and Paid Media team to identify new audiences to
target and optimize top-of-funnel and down-funnel channels, driving conversions across all
sites.
-Partner with CRM lead to identify incremental opportunities for sign-in and engagement incentives and opportunities for personalized journeys.
-Close collaboration with UX and CRM to identify opportunities for onsite A/B testing across different audience segments.
-Partner with the Customer Service team to address consumer concerns and improve user
experiences.
Requirements
- 6+ years of eCommerce experience. Management experience is critical.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in driving the reach and growth of a consumer-packaged good brand in the digital space and successfully managing a P&L.
- Experience forecasting and managing a complex assortment strategy for a brand with thousands of SKUs in the market.
- Digital content optimization experience and oversight of the growth of a highly engaged online community.
- Familiarity with consumer identity, privacy, and security needs.
- High level of comfort presenting and communicating with senior executives inside the organization and with external senior partners.
- High energy and capable of easily multi-tasking and context-switching in a fast-paced and ever-evolving organization.
- Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and highly collaborative environment.
- Experienced with Commerce tools such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Experienced with analytics and BI tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tabs Analytics, and Google Analytics (GA4).
- D2C Start-up experience strongly preferred.
