Job Description

This role will act as the primary liaison between Business and Technology, driving solution design, enabling data-driven decision-making, and leading the transformation of the analytics ecosystem through AI, automation, and advanced data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Domain Expertise – Asset Management

• Provide deep functional expertise in Asset Management, with strong knowledge of:
• Portfolio analytics and reporting
• Returns, Attribution, Analytics, Characteristics, and Ex-Post RiskCollaborate with business stakeholders (Performance Analytics, Investment
• Operations, Data Operations, Product Owners) to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Drive best practices and innovation in investment analytics frameworks.

2. Technology & Data Strategy

• Define and lead architecture for modern data ecosystems, including:
• Data Lakes / Lakehouse architectures
• Data Pipelines (batch & real-time)
• Data Integration frameworks
• Data Products and domain-oriented data models
• Ensure strong controls around:
• Data quality, lineage, and consistency
• Governance frameworks and standards
•  Promote a data-as-a-product mindset with strong ownership and accountability
• AI-Driven Transformation

Champion AI adoption across the analytics ecosystem, including:

• Generative AI for reporting, insights, and automation
• AI-assisted data engineering and data quality improvements
• Identify and implement use cases to transform legacy processes using AI
• Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation with emerging AI technologies.

3. Business–Technology Liaison

• Serve as the primary interface between Business and Technology teams.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear technical solutions and vice versa.
• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including executives and leadership teams.
• Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 15+ years in Asset Management and Performance Analytics
• Strong expertise in:
• Performance Analytics & Attribution
• Portfolio data models and investment lifecycle
• Proven experience with:
• Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouse architecture
• ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration frameworks
• Data product development and domain-driven design
• Experience in solution design and technical leadership roles
• Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)

Experience with investment platforms (e.g., Aladdin, Charles River, FactSet, Vermillion, Seismic)

  • Data orchestration tools (Tidal, TWS)
  • Exposure to APIs and event-driven architectures
  • Certifications in cloud, data engineering, or AI will be a plus

In-Office Collaboration
We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least three (3) days per week, with flexibility to work from home two (2) days per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
