Your Role:
As a Senior Manager, you’ll bring value to our clients by delivering expert guidance, driving operational improvements, and supporting complex accounting scenarios. Your role will provide hands-on accounting support, stepping into critical roles such as:
Interim Controller: Manage and optimize financial close processes, including month-end and year-end activities. Coach and mentor junior team members while fostering a collaborative environment.
Interim Accounting Manager: Streamline workflows in the general ledger, consolidations, and management reporting to improve efficiency.
Interim Special Projects Lead: Provide project management and hands-on support for major initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, system implementations, and ERP integrations (NetSuite, FloQast, BlackLine, and other platforms).
Interim Financial Analysis/FP&A Lead: Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to guide business performance.
Interim Internal Audit Director: Provide interim audit leadership, support SOX compliance, and strengthen internal controls.
Interim SEC Reporting manager/Director: Prepare and review SEC filings, financial statements, and disclosures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
What You Bring:
We're searching for resourceful leaders who combine technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and meaningful leadership experience.
Education & Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required, while a Masters degree preferred.
A CPA license, or equivalent certification, is highly valued.
7+ years of experience, ideally a mix of public accounting (Big Four or Next Ten) and industry experience.
At least 4+ years leading teams and managing complex projects.
Skills:
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including team collaboration and client-facing discussions.
Proven ability to identify challenges, implement solutions, and deliver with precision.
Strong project management and organizational skills, able to balance multiple priorities.
Takes ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision, while proactively communicating status updates and anticipating team and client needs.
Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel.
Technology Proficiency:
Expertise with ERP systems, especially NetSuite, is preferred.
Experience with supplemental tools like FloQast, Blackline, Workiva, and Carta is a bonus.
