Retail Banking Services Finance acts as a partner to the Retail Banking Services (RBS) business unit and other business units (our customers) to help them succeed with the Bank’s goals and their business unit responsibilities.
Retail Banking Services Finance forms part of the Financial Services business unit whose vision is to make a difference on the things that matter. The team provides business performance information, financial analysis and advice on the Home Lending product portfolio to support operational and strategic decisions.
Do work that matters
The Customer Service Lending (CSL) business unit encompasses the mobile, premier, and branch lender network within the Retail Banking Division (including Premier Banking and Private Banking).
The Senior Manager – CSL Finance Business is the key Finance role supporting the CSL distribution channel within the Retail Banking Division of CBA.
We’re interested in hearing from people who will aspire to
- Deliver regular business insights on the CSL distribution channel, including critical insights on proprietary/ broker competitive landscape
- Conduct financial modelling and analysis required to guide optimal business decisions including lender productivity, FTE reporting, and expenses
- Facilitate the planning, cascading, and maintenance of lender goals
- Build and maintain productive relations with finance and non-finance stakeholders including RBS Finance teams and Home Lending Distribution
- Other ad hoc reviews/ deep dives into business/ financial performance as required
- Preparation and presentation of outputs/ conclusions as required
Other qualities you may possess include
- Graduate qualifications in a numerate discipline preferably finance, business or economics
- Strong commercial, financial and/or management accounting skills
- Strong ability to manage and present to senior stakeholders including Executive General Manager level
- Proven track record of understanding industry trends and translating and linking to business outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
