We are looking for a high caliber professional to join our Decarbonisation Business Department as a Senior Manager - Cooling Operations. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team to provide reliable and quality performance of cooling assets to ensure meeting the performance target of uptime, efficiency and reliability. 
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, policies and procedures to ensure continuous energy supply and reduce unplanned outage.
  • Lead system replacement development and planning, spare parts inventory and resources planning and management. 
  • Develop outsourcing strategies and oversee outsourcing works, manage service providers, review and monitor the performance to ensure compliance with the service level requirements.
  • Formulate strategies on cooling operational management and resources planning to maximize the efficiency of the resources to support portfolio growth.
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with related regulations and company’s policies in particular safety.  Ensure all the necessary statutory documentation is in place.
  • Drive the adoption of digital technologies and industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency and increase customer satisfaction. 
  • Plan and manage annual operation budgets and monitoring, optimize financial performance to ensure cost efficiency and maximize profitability. 
  • Support business development activities and collaboration with other external and internal stakeholders. 
  • Work closely with other teams to cultivate and succeed in new opportunities by participating in discussion with key stakeholders and site visits.

Requirements: 

  • A recognized university degree in Engineering or relevant disciplines with a minimum of 15 years’ working experience and more than 8 years managerial experience leading a sizeable team. 
  • With a minimum of 10 years of track records with chiller plant O&M experience in Hong Kong and possess sound knowledge of occupational safety requirements. Related working experience in Mainland China will be an advantage.
  • Possession of strong technical expertise in HVAC O&M and solid business development experience in forming suppliers/ contactors/ customer partnership.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and government officials.
  • Excellent operation management and ability to drive continuous improvement on operation. 
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to implement new technologies to improve performance. 
  • Sound in financial planning and management.  Possess business acumen to optimize costs and improve profitability. 
  • Excellent people leadership skills and ability to communicate and resolve conflict within and across teams. 

Skills Required

  • Recognized university degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 15 years' working experience
  • More than 8 years managerial experience leading a sizeable team
  • Minimum 10 years of chiller plant O&M experience in Hong Kong
  • Sound knowledge of occupational safety requirements
  • Related working experience in Mainland China
  • Strong technical expertise in HVAC O&M
  • Business development experience forming supplier/contractor/customer partnerships
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and government officials
  • Excellent operations management and continuous improvement capability
