Because we believe every transaction has the potential to be transformational. We leverage data-driven insights from Catapult, our proprietary technology, and our deep understanding of marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart & TikTok Shop, to craft strategies unique to each brand we work with while protecting their pricing and channel strategies at every lifecycle stage and in any global market.

Role Overview:

The Senior Content Strategy Manager will be responsible for leading content strategy and execution across a portfolio of 7–10 brands - overseeing both strategic and creative output across Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and emerging platforms. This person will serve as the primary content lead for their clients – developing, implementing, and optimizing creative strategies that elevate brand storytelling and drive measurable marketplace performance.

This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional, partnering closely with Design, SEO, Performance Marketing, and Brand Strategy teams to create content that not only meets aesthetic and brand standards, but also improves discoverability, conversion, and revenue growth.

As a senior member of the content team, this person will help refine processes, mentor junior team members through example, and contribute to building best-in-class creative frameworks and marketplace playbooks.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Own the end-to-end content strategy and execution for 5–8 marketplace accounts across Beauty, Wellness, and CPG.
  • Develop and maintain content roadmaps that align with client objectives, seasonal priorities, and platform updates.
  • Lead creative strategy for Amazon PDPs, A+ content, Brand Stores, Bundles, and Ad Creatives (SBAs, SBVs, DSP).
  • Translate brand strategy and performance insights into actionable creative recommendations.
  • Partner with designers, SEO leads, and performance marketers to ensure creative outputs meet both brand and performance standards.
  • Implement updates and optimizations informed by SEO data, keyword trends, and customer insights.
  • Ensure all creative work adheres to marketplace best practices, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor 1 or 2 Content Coordinators, ensuring high-quality creative output and professional growth.

Optimization & Performance

  • Conduct regular content audits to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement across product listings and brand stores.
  • Plan and execute A/B and multivariate tests to measure the impact of design, messaging, and layout variations on engagement and conversion.
  • Leverage tools like Intellivy, PickFu, Helium10, DataDive, etc to gather consumer insights and validate creative hypotheses.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (CTR, CVR, traffic, keyword rank) to inform continuous optimization.
  • Collaborate with SEO, PPC  and Insights teams to test new strategies, evaluate results, and document learnings.
  • Contribute to MBRs and QBRs by summarizing creative performance and identifying next-step initiatives. Excellent presentation skills are needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Performance Marketing, SEO  and Brand Strategy to ensure cohesive storytelling across ads, PDPs, and brand stores.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to align on project timelines, deliverables, and workflows.
  • Provide creative insights that support broader marketplace strategies, new business opportunities, and client presentations.
  • Share emerging trends and platform updates with peers to elevate the overall quality and innovation of the team’s output.

Requirements
  • 3+  years of experience in ecommerce content strategy, merchandising, or creative marketing.
  • Proven success developing and optimizing Amazon content (PDPs, A+, Brand Stores, imagery, copy) & proficiency with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central.
  • Experience managing multiple brand portfolios in a fast-paced agency or aggregator environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace SEO, keyword strategy, and content-performance analytics.
  • Excellent project management skills – able to balance multiple deadlines across clients.
