As the Senior Manager of Commerce Strategic Programs, you will play a vital role in supporting the design and delivery of high-impact business initiatives across the Commerce Organization at Allegro. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Program Management, you will take ownership of indicated cross-functional programs with a focus on execution, stakeholder coordination, and operational delivery. You will lead the team of Project Managers and Business Operations Managers You will contribute to shaping and creating strategic approaches and process development to help scale core business priorities.
This role is ideal for a structured and impact-driven individual with program management experience who thrives in complex environments, works effectively with diverse teams (including Technology, Category Management, Marketing, and Product), and wants to directly influence how our marketplace delivers value to customers and merchants.
Your main responsibilities:
Program Execution: Lead the day-to-day delivery of strategic programs focused on improving business KPIs (e.g., selection relevancy, price competitiveness, etc).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with vertical leaders, product managers, and technology teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery across functions.
Consumer & Market Insights: Translate customer pain points and market opportunities into concrete program goals and requirements.
Operational Support: Support implementation and process design for efficient program rollout.
Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and key milestones to ensure on-time delivery and measurable impact. Proactively identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear and timely updates for program sponsors and leadership. Ensure alignment across teams.
Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in program delivery processes and contribute to their resolution.
Organization Building: developing and coaching project managers and business operations managers
Strong leadership skills - inspiring others to achieve shared goals.
This is the right job for you if you have:
7+ years of experience in program management, consulting, product management, or similar roles, with proven business and organization impact
Experience managing cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments, ideally in e-commerce, technology, or retail.
Strong ability to collaborate with Technology, Product, and Business teams.
Experience in directly managing and developing teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear messages.
Data-driven mindset with experience in KPI tracking, performance reporting, and impact analysis.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
