Job Description

To act as the commercial growth enablement lead responsible for operationalizing revenue growth through data, customer intelligence, and structured governance. Unlike traditional BI roles, this position serves as the analytical backbone to translate fragmented data into actionable growth insights, revenue acceleration initiatives, and executive-level decision support across cross-border logistics, domestic parcel, and supply chain services. While the role begins as a high-impact individual contributor, the incumbent is expected to design and lead a future-state Commercial Intelligence team. Moving beyond dashboard creation as an outcome, this role proactively derives strategic growth projects from deep-dive analytics - identifying lifecycle leakages, optimizing Lifetime Value (LTV), and directing sales efforts toward high-propensity targets to institutionalize data-driven growth.

Commercial Performance & Revenue Governance

  • Spearhead the development of comprehensive commercial dashboards and KPI frameworks to monitor revenue performance across diverse product lines and customer segments.
  • Establish rigorous commercial operating rhythms and implement advanced revenue forecasting models, incorporating early warning systems to mitigate churn and revenue attrition.

Strategic Growth – Data Analytics Lead

  • Go beyond "what happened" to "what to do." Use LTV, Cohort Analysis, and Propensity modeling to identify specific growth plays (e.g., Cross-sell "Next Best Product," Wallet-share expansion, and high-margin segment prioritization).
  • Map the end-to-end customer journey to identify "leakage" points. Lead the "Predictive Save" project—building early-warning systems and save-playbooks to intercept churn before it happens.
  • Direct the maintenance and optimization of customer segmentation frameworks to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Identify high-growth market verticals and untapped opportunities; facilitate Go-to-Market prioritization through sophisticated profitability analysis and geographic clustering techniques.

Product Strategy & Economic Analytics

  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of product performance and the underlying quality of revenue streams.
  • Analyze lane economics and assess price elasticity to optimize commercial outcomes.
  • Formulate robust business cases for the introduction of new products and the expansion of trade lanes.

Executive Reporting & Strategic Narrative

  • Compose high-level presentations for Board review; synthesize complex datasets into cohesive strategic narratives to support CEO performance evaluations and institutional budget planning.

Data Governance & Systems Optimization

  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence and IT departments to enhance data governance protocols and promote process automation.
  • Maintain the integrity and quality of commercial data across primary CRM and ERP systems.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor's in a quantitative field (Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics
  • 8 - 10 years experience. Must demonstrate a history of not just "building dashboards," but leading projects that resulted in measurable revenue growth.
  • Team Evolution: Proven ability or clear potential to structure a new department, define roles for data engineers/analysts, and mentor a technical team.
  • Defines the set of knowledge and skills required to achieve the roles and responsibilities of the job
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, and Financial Modeling. (Python/Snowflake/Salesforce are an advantage)
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and challenge sales narratives with data.
