Associate Director Commercial Effectiveness & Insights will be integral in ensuring the successful evolution from a launch phase to one centered on optimization and maximization of our portfolio across European markets.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical and operational capabilities, experienced in working cross-functionally, and passionate about translating insights into action. You will partner closely with Global and local commercial teams, business intelligence, commercial insights, medical affairs, finance, and other counterparts to elevate commercial effectiveness across the region.
Essential Functions of the job:
Customer Engagement Optimisation
Collaborate cross functionally and across the region to develop consistent customer segmentation and targeting frameworks
Contribute to segmentation and targeting evolutions based on insights generated/increased knowledge of Customers expectations/behaviors/needs
Work with business intelligence and local teams on call planning optimization
Partner with Digital and multi channel teams to develop strategies and tactics to align messages and channels to customer preferences
Sales Incentive Planning
Prepare a Sales Incentive Plan framework and communicate with European countries to establish that country plans are aligned with strategic priorities, documented and within the overall framework
Perform analysis on sales incentive plan achievement, provide insights on plan performance and make recommendations to improve plan effectiveness.
Work with HR to ensure sales incentive plans are fair, motivational and targets are aligned to industry benchmarks. Check that sales incentive plan policies are in place and up to date.
Collaborate with local country teams and Global Business Intelligence on plan administration to ensure appropriate documentation for sales incentive planning processes
Commercial Effectiveness
Work with cross functional colleagues to develop and roll out SFE tools, dashboards, and training to enhance field team productivity.
Analyze customer engagement strategy efficiencies (HCO/HCP reach, impact on performance, alignment with expectations/industry benchmark) to identify critical success factors, propose recommendations to optimize field execution
Partner with local teams to provide expertise and direct support on field force sizing and territory design. Create frameworks for continuous improvement in commercial execution, including benchmarking and best-practice sharing across affiliates.
Qualifications:
Min 5 years’ work experience in a Commercial/Marketing support role in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries
Pragmatic, yet creative and innovative. Lead while "rolling up your sleeves" to get it done
Able to combine strategic thinking with the ability to execute to achieve operational objectives
Excels in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly accountable environment, often with a high degree of ambiguity
A connector, building relationships and partnering across the organization (geographies, functions and levels) to achieve the company goals
Curiosity, problem solving skills, business acumen, industry knowledge and project management skills
Attention to detail and technical data analytics / quantitative skills an advantage
Biotech or pharmaceutical marketplace launch experience in solid tumor oncology
Fluent in English; other languages advantageous.
Computer Skills: PC, including Advanced MS Office Suite,
SQL, Power BI or other analytics/data visualisation software an advantage
Travel: 10-20%
