Regional and Agribusiness Banking (RAB) provides a comprehensive range of services to business banking customers based in regional Australia, including those engaged in the Agribusiness sector, both pre and post farm gate.
Do work that matters
Reporting to the Executive Manager Agribusiness Sales Support, the Senior Manager will help shape the Agribusiness strategy to enable outstanding customer outcomes. You’ll have a passion for innovation and an eye for opportunity in supporting sustainable growth initiatives for RAB.
Your day could look like, but not limited to:
- Contribute to a team that has oversight of the Agribusiness portfolio performance and deliver insights to internal partners on this.
- Develop and influence strategy and direction of the agribusiness portfolio and subsectors
- Develop, influence and execute growth initiatives to support the business, drive process and policy improvements
- Undertake market research and gap analysis, identify growth opportunities in line with risk policy and appetite of the RAB business
- Engage with internal stakeholders and provide input into media, government and political relations communications to ensure they are fit for purpose
- Support the development and execution of the Agribusiness strategy and value proposition;
- Deliver on strategies which support frontline sales activity through pipeline management, performance visibility, credit review and engagement with customers;
- Develop and support the creation of customer insights and thought leadership
We want to hear from you if you have
- Agribusiness industry experience and an awareness of key challenges, as well as a passion for the sector
- Excellent strategic execution skills, with an ability to think outside of the box and multitask
- Detail-oriented while able to see the bigger picture,
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to deliver on multiple and connected initiatives
- Stakeholder management skills, the ability to influence and lead change and engage with people at all levels across the business
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, confident presentation skills
- Frontline banking experience, or experience working with frontline banking roles is highly desirable
- Ability to present internally/externally and foster collaboration and workshop style settings (where required) would be advantageous as a primary skill set
