Team

The Anti-Financial-Crime (AFC) department at Raisin SE is responsible for preventing, detecting, and combating financial crime, ensuring that Raisin is not misused for activities such as money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud.

As a core component of this mission, the AFC Advisory team operates as a strategic function focused on framework governance and regulatory development. We define and monitor internal policies, control mechanisms, and training programs to bolster awareness of financial crime and ensure robust, company-wide AFC standards.

Your Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Plan, implement, and document AFC-focused projects (both internal bank initiatives and client-facing) from an AFC perspective.
  • Strategic Conceptual Development: Drive the conceptual evolution of the bank’s AML framework, ensuring a focus on both regulatory alignment and the integration of supporting IT systems.
  • Framework Development: Lead the continuous development, updating, and documentation of relevant processes and internal control mechanisms.
  • Risk Analysis: Develop our AML risk analysis methodology to ensure it remains accurate, robust, and responsive to emerging threats.
  • Control Execution: Execute and monitor controls and surveillance activities to maintain the integrity of the AFC framework.
  • Outsourcing Governance: Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding all AML-related outsourcing arrangements.
  • Audit Coordination: Serve as the technical point of contact for the preparation and execution of internal and external AFC-related audits, ensuring comprehensive documentation and transparency.
  • Regulatory Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of new regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable AFC standards

Your Profile

  • Experience: Several years of professional experience in AFC/AML advisory within a bank, an audit firm, or a specialized consulting environment.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of relevant regulations, including GwG, BaFin AuA, AML-VO, EBA Guidelines, FATF recommendations, and KWG.
  • KYC & Customer Risk: Solid knowledge of KYC and customer identification processes, combined with proven experience in creating and maintaining risk analyses and customer risk ratings.
  • Technical & Analytical Literacy: Strong conceptual understanding of AFC systems and data logic. You are comfortable evaluating the intersection of AML-logic and IT architecture.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in both German and English is required for this role.
  • Professional Standards: A high level of integrity, a strong sense of ownership, and a consistent commitment to quality standards.
