Your Responsibilities
As a Sr Maintenance Engineer for Harvester Works located in East Moline, IL, you will be the key technical resource for manufacturing equipment support across the full Harvester Works portfolio of equipment/processes.
- Provide complex equipment troubleshooting and support (i.e. automation, electrical distribution, material handling, automated weld cells, hydraulic controls, data tracking/collection, and environmental controls) to minimize equipment downtime.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in FA, Engineering, and Safety on RCCA's, equipment modernization, SCF projects.
- Train and mentor other maintenance team members (wage and salary) for best practices and increased technical depth of the organization.
- Contribute to the analysis of information and the specification of the methods and process steps, utilizing our SAP CMMS, to drive equipment reliability.

What Skills You Need
- 3 or more years of experience of maintenance engineering or automation systems design experience including electrical controls, mechanical, hydraulic, power distribution, and robotics.
- Experience troubleshooting equipment failures/issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong history of communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Experience planning and coordinating improvement efforts across multiple departments, functions, and stakeholders to achieve improved business results.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Advanced technical degree, CMRP certification, or PMP Certification
- Advanced ability to data mine, develop reports and tools to aid in decision making and strategic priorities for the team.
- Experience designing and integrating robotic systems, controls and other automation in an industrial environment.
- Experience working in a union environment and within contractual guidelines to achieve business results.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Management or Engineering/Technology
