- Develop and implement innovative logistics and packaging concepts in close collaboration with customers, production partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate and oversee inbound and outbound deliveries, including the preparation of transport documents and management of customs procedures, while ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with international regulations.
- Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and in-house prototype activities, maintaining a high standard of organization and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain clear, consistent communication with production partners, suppliers, and customers to align logistics strategies with project timelines and objectives.
- Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive excellence in logistics operations.
- Maintain and continuously optimize the logistics process landscape, integrating best practices, innovative solutions, and sustainability principles to address evolving business needs and challenges.
What you bring with you
- Educational background in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in logistics, transport planning, or similar roles, preferably with a focus on organizing shipments in the automotive industry.
- Experience with packaging solutions and planning methodologies.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with a focus on logistics processes; experience with SAP ByDesign is highly desirable.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
