We are currently looking for a Senior Logistics Operation Specialist who will play a vital role in ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position involves working closely with multiple departments to optimize shipping processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate daily logistics operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of shipments.
- Analyze and optimize logistics processes for importing and exporting goods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and procurement, to align logistics activities with overall business goals.
- Monitor compliance with local and international regulations regarding shipping and freight forwarding.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior logistics team members on best practices and processes.
- Handle complex logistics queries and troubleshoot issues as they arise, providing effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all shipments and transactions.
- Utilize logistics software to track shipments, inventory, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations or a similar role, preferably within freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex shipping processes and improving operational efficiencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in logistics software and tracking systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
