We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator - Export Documentation to manage complex export-documentation requirements and support documentation quality, compliance, training, and process improvement.
This is a hands-on individual-contributor role for an experienced coordinator ready to take greater ownership without moving into formal people management.
What You’ll Do
•Prepare and review Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, FDA documents, and country-specific export documents.
•Independently manage complex customer, carrier, and destination-country documentation requirements.
•Monitor documentation accuracy, turnaround times, open exceptions, and compliance risks.
•Resolve routine documentation issues and escalate higher-risk matters appropriately.
•Coordinate with Sales, customers, carriers, warehouses, trucking companies, government agencies, and internal teams.
•Manage FDA filings, notarizations, legalizations, certificates, and telex-release follow-up.
•Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready records in SAP.
•Provide guidance and training support to Logistics Coordinators.
•Assist with operational reporting, documentation audits, SOP updates, and root-cause analysis.
•Recommend improvements that reduce errors and strengthen turnaround times and compliance.
•Serve as backup to the Associate Logistics Manager when assigned.
What You’ll Bring
•High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
•Progressive experience in logistics, export documentation, supply chain, or international transportation.
•Strong knowledge of export documents, customer SOPs, Incoterms, and trade-compliance requirements.
•Ability to independently manage complex documentation and identify compliance risks.
•Strong judgment, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•Experience training, mentoring, or supporting less-experienced team members.
•Ability to analyze recurring issues and recommend practical improvements.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range is $29.00 to $33.60, commensurate with experience.
