Senior Linux Engineer
Location: Bangalore/Chennai/Mumbai
Mode : Hybrid (3 days from the office)
Shift Timing : Rotational (EMEA/US/APAC)
Working Hours : 45 hours / week
Corporation Service Company is looking for a Senior Linux Engineer to design and implement various applications, servers, environments and related services. The Engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing, installing and upgrading our Linux environments that include Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, RedHat Linux and RedHat OpenShift.
Responsibilities include

• Responsible for the administration, and deployment of server hardware, Linux/Unix Operating Systems, RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP), back office services, and business critical applications.
• Perform engineering and Tier 3 level support for a wide array of enterprise technology solutions.
• Automating routine business tasks using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Create technical documentation related to system configurations, process, procedure, and knowledgebase articles.
• Monitor system performance, perform regular updates and patches, and ensure system availability and reliability
• Harden Linux systems against security vulnerabilities and perform regular audits.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot services like DNS, SMTP, SSH, etc.

Qualifications Include

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline
• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with containerization products such as Docker, kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift.
• Experience with configuration management systems like Puppet, Ansible, or Salt.
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESX 5 or similar virtualization technology.
• Experience with HCI appliances such as Nutanix, EMC VSPEX, HP StoreVirtual, Hitachi UCP, etc.
• Shell scripting experience with at least one scripting language: Bourne shell, sed, awk, Perl, or python.
• Understanding of LDAP and SSO technologies.
• Strong focus on automation.
• Familiar with writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to think strategically and proactively (rather than reactionary)
• Ability to work in a fast passed, highly dynamic environment and "learn on the job".
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
