Kaimetrix is looking for a Senior-Level Virtualization Engineer to help design and manage next-generation enterprise virtualization environments. This position supports highly available and scalable solutions built on hyper-converged infrastructure to meet performance and security objectives.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain hyper-converged infrastructure using VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and related technologies
Manage virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments with Omnissa tools including Horizon, App Volumes, and Workspace ONE
Optimize virtualization performance and reliability through resource planning, patching, and monitoring
Participate in capacity planning and tech refresh initiatives to ensure infrastructure meets mission and service demands
Document architectural designs and participate in change boards and production readiness reviews
Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity and configuration management standards
Education/Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of virtualization or systems engineering experience
A Master’s degree may substitute for 3 years of experience; a Bachelor’s for 1 year
VMware Certified Professional or equivalent intermediate-level virtualization certification
