Senior Leader Procurement Sourcing Specialist

Vixxo is seeking a full-time Senior Leader Procurement Sourcing Executive to work in our Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, or Scottsdale, AZ, Offices.

(Hybrid Model – In Office – Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday)

Position Summary:

The Senior Leader Procurement Sourcing Executive will support the organization’s strategic sourcing and supply chain functions in close partnership with Vixxo’s Service Provider Management, Operations, and Client Account teams to lower our service provider costs while achieving service performance expectations. Vixxo’s core business focuses on target vertical markets throughout the US within the convenience, grocery, restaurant, and retail industries. This role works with a team of sourcing professionals to build and leverage relationships with equipment manufacturers and key trade service providers, such as food service beverage (FSB), HVAC/R, and electrical, for our national facilities management contracts. The ideal candidate must be able to provide leadership to ensure seamless integration of sourcing, procurement, and logistics with a proven track record of delivering demonstrable cost reduction initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and manage complex sourcing strategies and service provider negotiations to improve the quality of services and reduce Vixxo’s costs to achieve the company's gross margin goals. Utilize industry best practices to create strategic initiatives that distinguish us from the competition, leveraging RFPs, eRFPs, and other means.
• Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives. Analyze category spending and develop strategies: Obtain spending data and analyze for savings opportunities; Develop category sourcing strategies; Monitor external supply market benchmarks, trends, and rates.
• Partner closely with the Vixxo Service Provider Management, Service Provider Analytics, and client operations teams to proactively review coverage gaps impacting our ability to deliver initiatives and develop comprehensive and collaborative plans for executing these gaps.
• Build Service Provider relationships, improving service provider satisfaction scores through professional interactions with the Vixxo team.
• Over time, you will be responsible for building, managing, and developing a team of high-performing sourcing professionals. You will consistently raise the bar with insights on emerging supply chain trends, operational risks, and opportunities to inform long-term strategy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Facility maintenance or experience with industries such as grocery, restaurant, and big-box retail is a plus.
• Proven experience building and cultivating complex supplier partnerships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, focusing on managing vendor relationships.
• Continuously assess supplier performance and implement improvement strategies to enhance quality and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Ability to research and provide data analysis related to cost structures and pricing.
• Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen.
• Proven ability to manage budget and control expenses.

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); technical aptitude to work with additional software applications.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and data analytics tools to drive supply chain optimization.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving professional growth with a geographically diverse team.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies for best practices
• Ability to follow a consistent, systematic process to make thoughtful, concise, and timely decisions while considering the overall costs and benefits to the organization.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred: Master's degree or MBA.

• The position requires travel. The annual rate of overnight travel is up to 25%. Travel may include trips to client locations, Vixxo regional offices, supplier visits, and training events.
