We are seeking a highly autonomous and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer who is highly proficient in modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) and can leverage them effectively for design, coding, debugging, and productivity. As the sole developer, you will be the primary technical authority, responsible for everything from initial database schema design in MSSQL to the overall architecture and delivery of the application. Front-end implementation may be supported by third-party developers, with this role focused primarily on back-end systems, data, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities
• End-to-End Ownership: Lead the full SDLC, including requirement gathering, system architecture, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Infrastructure & DevOps: Manage your own hosting environments (Azure/AWS/On-prem), CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
• Database Administration: Act as the sole DBA for MSSQL environments, handling backups, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all applications are secure by design, implementing authentication (Identity/JWT) and protecting against common vulnerabilities.
• Technical Roadmap: Advise leadership on technology choices, technical debt, and future scalability requirements.
Required Skills
• Backend: Expert-level C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET. Must be comfortable building clean, maintainable logic without peer oversight.
• Database: Mastery of MSSQL. You must be able to design schemas and write efficient T-SQL independently.
• Frontend: Working proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with the ability to oversee or integrate front-end work performed by third-party developers. Deep front-end specialization is not required.
• Architectural: Proven ability to implement design patterns (Repository, Unit of Work) that keep a solo codebase manageable over time.
Important Qualities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines without daily supervision or a project manager.
• Ability to debug issues anywhere in the stack, from a CSS alignment bug to a database deadlock or a server configuration error.
• Ability to balance “perfect code” with the need to deliver functional business value in a timely manner.
• Disciplined approach to documenting the codebase and system architecture so that the system remains maintainable.
Qualifications
• Experience: 5–10 years of professional experience, ideally with at least one previous role in a startup or small-team environment where you had high levels of independence.
• Tools: Proficient with Git, Visual Studio, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Azure DevOps, Azure.
• Communication: Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
