10:10 Games is an independent development studio based in the heart of Warrington, UK. 10:10 Games saw its first release in 2024 with Funko Fusion and is now gearing up for future growth with new and exciting IPs.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Level Designer who has proficient Unreal knowledge and experience to join our exciting growing team. Being part of a small team, we are looking for an experienced level designer who has a flair for level design as well as being a design generalist who has a desire to collaborate with a committed development team. Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic team players who are eager to learn and develop in our inclusive studio. The role will entail:

• Working under the direction of our Design Director and Lead Designers, you will be responsible for multiple areas of our game that could include level design, level implementation and level direction, quest design and implementation and more.
• You will work independently, as well as working closely with other departments to deliver on the studio’s project vision.
• Participate in regular design reviews.

About You

• You have an excellent working knowledge of Unreal Engine.
• You have the ability to self-motivate, understand goals, and research and plot a pathway to achieve them.
• You are capable of designing and delivering quality design solutions to help the studio achieve their goals.

• You have the ability to communicate well at all levels, both within the design team and also the wider studio development team in a fast-moving inclusive environment.
• You have a desire to learn, you take direction and feedback well, can be self-critical, and want to grow in an inclusive and collaborative studio.

• You have a high level of professionalism and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points

• A good degree or post-graduate qualification, or relevant experience, in videogame design.
• Experience working with the gameplay ability system, AI state trees, and general blueprints within Unreal.
• One or more titles shipped in Unreal.
• A love of family friendly videogames.
