About this PositionPrimerica seeks an Attorney to handle securities complaints, respond to SEC, FINRA, state securities and other inquiries, relating to securities issues, as well as special projects.Hybrid role

DUTIES:
- Investigate and resolve consumer complaints related to securities products, including mutual funds, variable annuities, managed accounts and 529 plans, as well as other services provided by the Primerica Companies’ sales force.
- Prepare responses to regulatory inquiries and assist representatives in the preparation of required statements and negotiate and implement settlements with consumers, including preparing required documents for management approval of settlements and enacting settlements, which includes facilitating payments to clients, making adjustments to clients' accounts, communicating representative discipline, as necessary.
- Identify and complete required regulatory reports, including Form U-4 and U-5 amendments, 30-day and quarterly 4530 Reports, and Suspicious Activity Reports.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Law Degree and admission to the bar of any state
- Series 6 and Series 26 securities licenses (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- Basic knowledge of Primerica’s sales force, corporate structure, internal guidelines and business policies of PFSI as well as federal and state tax laws is preferred
- Good negotiating skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and electronic research skills
- Strong mathematical, analytical and organizational skills
- Detail oriented, self-motivated and team player
- Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Westlaw and use of Internet
