About the Role
As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Strategic Sales & Analytics (SSNA) Lead to our Italian team, based in our Milan office. This is a key leadership position within the Strategic Sales & Analytics organization, reporting to the SSNA Ninja Director.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering data-driven insights that shape market and category strategy across key retail accounts in Italy. You'll oversee pricing and promotional recommendations, track overall business health, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive strong commercial performance. This opportunity is ideal for a strategic, analytically minded leader who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Market & Category Strategy
  • Act as the category expert by monitoring market trends, pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, and competitive positioning.
  • Ensure the brand consistently wins and protects market share by proactively identifying and closing category performance gaps.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven category strategies that increase distribution, shelf space, and in-store visibility.
  • Provide real-time POS analysis to enable rapid decision-making and strategic adjustments.

Business Performance & Analytics
  • Lead financial and commercial performance analysis, including variance and trend analysis, to assess results and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards that enhance visibility into key financial and commercial KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, finance, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly and effectively to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Strategic Sales Analytics & Reporting
  • Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly analytics reporting on business performance, category trends, and financial metrics.
  • Analyze market opportunities, category gaps, and competitive risks to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Present actionable insights using internal and external data to align major initiatives across the organization.
  • Manage the Master Event Calendar for the Italian market, ensuring seamless coordination of retail initiatives.
  • Evaluate pre- and post-promotion performance to quantify impact and improve future retail strategies.
  • Track and measure KPIs including promotional lift, pricing elasticity, and overall sales results.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and R&D.
  • Ensure strong alignment and coordination across departments to achieve category and business goals.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (advanced analytics qualification preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic sales, category management, or business analytics roles.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into commercial strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying market threats and opportunities.
