As a Senior Lead Full Stack Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Electronic Trading Services, you will leverage your expertise in Python, Node.js, ReactJS, FastAPI, Django, and Flask to design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance market-leading technology solutions. You will drive significant business impact through your full stack capabilities, applying deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle diverse challenges across front-end and back-end systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Design and develop secure, high-quality production code across the full stack, including front-end and back-end components, and review and debug code written by others.
- Drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes, with a focus on modern full stack architectures.
- Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in full stack development, with deep expertise in Python, Node.js, ReactJS, FastAPI, Django, and Flask.
- Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge full stack technologies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Formal training or certification in Computer Science concepts and advanced experience in full stack development.
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for both front-end and back-end systems.
- Proficiency in Python (including FastAPI, Django, Flask), Node.js, JavaScript (ReactJS), and BASH.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as ReactJS.
- Experience with back-end frameworks including FastAPI, Django, and Flask.
- Experience with cloud platforms and practical public cloud experience.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies, with a focus on full stack architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience working on network automation and metrics.
- Familiarity with Netbox or other network automation tools is a plus, but not required-training will be provided.
