Vanguard’s Financial Analysts provide consultative support to our internal clients by preparing analyses and models that allow them to make the right strategic decisions. In this role, you’ll collaborate with senior leaders to understand their business’ financial needs and aid in the annual planning process. You'll be an integral part of the business landscape and a steward of Vanguard’s success.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers regular Board and CEO reporting via the 10Q/K and Enterprise Quarterly Business Reviews
- Manages long-term initiatives and goals focusing on the most complex financial analysis. Oversees initiatives that supporting enterprise stakeholders. Conducts complex analyses such as forecasting and financial modeling.
- Acts as senior subject matter expert across the financial, accounting and regulatory areas to support complex matters. Creates presentations for senior leaders to inform on financial performance.
- Develops financial models to assist in tactical and strategic decision making. Implements systematic approach to maintain and continuously improve the models.
- Develops and implements strategies to optimize business processes. Oversees planning, development, and execution of short and long-term projects for the department.
- Crafts responses to complex requests for information related to internal business statistics and trends. Engages appropriate resources to support requests, determines appropriate sources of information, collects, compiles, interprets, analyzes and summarizes results in alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Supports the development and growth of the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years related work experience, with at least two years financial services industry experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Economics or Finance degree preferred. Graduate degree preferred.
- CPA, CFM, CMA, or other financial designation preferred.
