About the role:
- This role focuses on building Automation Functional Business scenarios, preparing and executing Automated regression.
- As an Automation engineer, you will take part in executing and monitoring the runs, design new framework/script.
- You would also require performing a Root cause analysis for any failures and document the findings
- Implement proactive solutions to stabilize automation suites and thereby improve customer experience.
About the team:
- TSP (Testing Service Practice) is a team that provides Test Automation, Performance Testing, End to End test management for the Capital Market Services across multiple domains and lines of business specializing in delivering client engagements and strategic internal initiatives.
- We drive & deliver for the clients globally across APAC, EMEA and Americas operating as true global team for multiple Lines of Business under Capital Markets
- The key objective / themes of the team is to build efficiencies and optimize the testing by using test automation thereby reducing manual testing effort and cycle
- With simplified process along with customized approach of automation, we support faster application upgrade to latest release with confidence and without capital or headcount cost.
What you will be doing:
- We are seeking Senior Test Automation to join our Testing Services team supporting clients globally.
- Building Automation test cases for the requirements
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, utilities, data sets and other program test tools required to execute test scripts
- Execute automated tests and analyse results to identify issues, performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement and fix automation issues independently
- Coordinate activities among team members, internal departments (technical and nontechnical), and client on PoC’s and regular automation requirements
- Automating test cases and scenarios for clients across the globe.
What you will need:
- Bachelor (or above) degree in computer science or equivalent
- Around 9-13 years of experience in Software Test Automation, framework development and execution using tools and technologies like API Testing using rest assured, Performance testing using JMeter and UI Automation using Selenium framework.
- Knowledge on implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure smooth and efficient testing process.
- Familiar with database and strong SQL knowledge.
- Knowledge of version control tools such as GitHub, bitbucket, etc. Strong experience on Jira, Test rail, Zephyr, etc.
- A team player, who can work independently under minimum supervision and guide/mentor others when needed.
- Strong Analytical and communication skills and experience working with Global teams.
Added bonus if you have:
- Strong experience in Agile methodology
- Background in Financial Services specifically in the Trading domain of Capital Markets.
