About the role:.

• Develop and support projects in RPA and Python

• Design technical and functional solutions and implement in Capital Market applications

About the team: 

We are the Digital Transformation team, part of FIS Capital Markets - Technology and Services group. We are responsible for working with our various global Lines of Businesses to identify and implement new ways of working leveraging acceleration, automation, and agile practices. We run an iterative incubation process which identifies the products with the best acceleration potential and helps the businesses and product teams build accelerated delivery services and packages.

What you will be doing:

• Leading the delivery of your appointed accelerated package(s) or service(s) and acceleration goals (reduction in client implementation effort, creation of new revenue opportunities, etc.)

• Managing, reporting, and communicating on progress and metrics for the accelerated package or service delivery process you manage

• Guiding the team of automation consultants in designing, developing, and implementing business requirements into effective automation solutions.

• Contributing to continuous improvement of automation toolkit by providing feedback, cross training, and guiding team members.

What you will need:

• 5 to 10 years’ experience in managing small to mid-size engagements from a scope, deliverables, planning, risks, quality, and budget perspective. 

• In the context of those engagements or, a proven ability to engage various internal stakeholders at various hierarchical level.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and team members.

• Excellent client service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., Process SME’s, Project Manager, Technical Leads etc.

• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills

• Strong technical understanding with a background in computer science, engineering, or a related field, certifications is a plus.

• Previous experience in successfully managing & delivering Python automation, RPA and Gen AI projects within financial industry/Capital Markets is highly desirable.

• Exposure to Automation tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Fortra Automate Plus, Blue Prism, etc.

• Leverage and apply Agile principles in a general delivery context (not software development focused)

• Ability to work in a matrix organization, building strong relationships with key stakeholders across teams and locations outside of your own hierarchy. 

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience of Agile Scrum will be an added advantage

• Fluent in English

• Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.

• Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.

• Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
