The Role
Job Summary:

The Senior Lawyer – Contract Management will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts across multiple operating companies within the group. This role requires a lawyer who is adept at managing high contract volumes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legal standards, and providing practical, business-oriented legal advice to support operations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. Experience in the infrastructure or related industries is an advantage but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts (e.g., procurement, construction, consultancy, supply, service agreements, NDAs, and JV agreements).

  • Manage contract workflows efficiently to handle high volumes and competing deadlines across several operating companies.

  • Provide legal guidance and support to business units on contract-related matters, risk mitigation, and compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (procurement, finance, operations, and management teams) to ensure contract terms align with company objectives.

  • Maintain and update the contract management system to ensure proper documentation, tracking, and renewal alerts.

  • Assist in developing and implementing contract templates, standard terms, and best practices to streamline processes.

  • Support due diligence and legal reviews for corporate transactions, as needed.

  • Liaise with external counsel on specialized matters or complex agreements when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law; must be a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar.

  • At least 7 years of post-bar experience in contract management, corporate law, or commercial legal practice.

  • Proven experience handling high-volume contracts and working across multiple entities or operating companies.

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

  • Experience in the infrastructure, construction, or energy industry is an advantage but not required.

  • Willing to report onsite daily
