About the project
Join a long-term project focused on Order Management, a critical part of the business ecosystem responsible for managing integrations and business processes. As part of a major modernization initiative, legacy applications built on Java 6/8 and JBoss/WildFly are being migrated to a modern cloud environment based on Spring Boot and Java 21.
Your responsibilities:
- Migrate existing systems from JBoss/WildFly to Spring Boot-based solutions,
- Support the transition of legacy applications to a cloud-native environment,
- Develop and maintain integration services and microservices,
- Contribute to business process automation and orchestration,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system modernization initiatives.
Must-have
- Commercial experience with Java 17+
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot 3.x
- Experience with JPA / Hibernate
- Knowledge of OpenAPI
- Good understanding of SQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with Git and Maven
- Basic hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Nice to have
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Sonar, or DependencyTrack
- Knowledge of Camunda or Sygnavio
- Previous experience in application modernization or migration projects
