Senior Java & Spring Boot Developer

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a skilled Sr. Java and Spring Boot Developer to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing scalable components within a microservices architecture, contributing to Synechron's strategic objectives of delivering high-quality, efficient, and sustainable solutions. As a key player in our software engineering team, you will drive technology initiatives that enhance business performance and client satisfaction.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Proficiency in Java 8 or latest version and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kong API Gateway.
  • Proficient use of continuous integration/deployment tools like Jenkins, Git, and Jira.
  • Familiarity with reactive programming frameworks such as RxJava.

• Preferred:

  • Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Checkmarx, Netsparker, or Aquasec.

Overall Responsibilities

• Design and develop server-side components using Java and Spring Boot within a microservice architecture.
• Champion functional programming paradigms and adopt reactive programming where suitable.
• Implement and manage automated build, integration, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to refine requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure robust performance of developed components.
• Engage in code reviews to maintain codebase quality and integration consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in Java, Spring Boot, or cloud technologies are preferred.
