Senior Java Software Developer

Callibrity is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is full-time and remote based, but must work on U.S. Eastern or Central Time working hours. Will not consider non-US based candidates.

As a Software Developer, you are a leader by example, you are a subject matter expert, and you help lead strategic technical direction. You will get to interact with key client stakeholders on a regular basis and use your experience to prove business ROI through innovative greenfield technology solutions. • Demonstrate mastery and cable to teach software development best practices (Agile, DevOps, Test Automation, CI/CD, TDD) to others

Requirements:

• 5+ years software development experience with Java based applications
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with Git / GitHub, Bootstrap, Gradle/Maven or other similar tool is preferred
• Experience with SQL, JavaScript, Angular, React, Version Control and Agile is preferred
• Desired experience with Kafka and Jenkins is a plus
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform preferred
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or developing applications for a major public cloud provider is a plus
• Relevant professional experience in Information Technology and/or Consulting
• Four-year degree or successful completion of respected bootcamp/accelerator, or extensive mentorship program
• Successfully solve Callibrity’s CoderPad and Code Pairing Challenges
