At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with strong experience in Documentum to join our UniQue team.

What will you be bringing to the team?

  • Work with a skilled team as an experienced key member on analysis, design, and implementation of Enterprise, Java-based solutions for our customers
  • Maintain and evolve existing software applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification
  • Close cooperation with client teams and follow up business requirements
  • Produce and maintain technical and system documentation
  • Validate technical feasibility and propose alternative solutions
  • Coach and guide young team members

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Bachelor degree with minimum 7 years of professional experience in the IT field, with at least 4 years in Java-based solutions, etc. (preferably Java 17 or above)
  • An in-depth knowledge of the Java platform, object-oriented programming, and dependency injection
  • Strong experience with Documentum upgrade
  • Strong experience in SOAP and RESTful web services
  • Very good knowledge of design patterns and best practices in software design
  • Solid experience with code quality metrics and test coverage
  • Solid experience in relational databases (preferably Oracle)
  • Solid experience in Java EE Application Servers (i.e., Wildfly)
  • Very good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to design and implement solutions with minimal supervision

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree
