We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer with deep experience in designing and building scalable, high-performance systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture to join our engineering team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services that power our enterprise applications. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure solutions are delivered.
Location: Mexico (Remote)
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 6+ years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong expertise in:Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, React
- Experience with message queues and event streaming platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub, Terraform, JFrog Artifactory, or similar artifact management and infrastructure tools.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and REST API design.
- Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot on Azure.
- Build and enhance frontend components using React, working closely with UI/UX teams for seamless end-to-end delivery.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions with a focus on scalability, resilience, and security.
- Enable integration between legacy systems and modern applications using event-driven architectures and Azure messaging services.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them using Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Apply clean code, automated testing, and DevSecOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in Azure environments.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, DevOps, QA, and Frontend teams.
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
